It Had To Be Said - Who Needs A Doctor? | Sermon Audio
On July 21, 2024, Pastor Nate Archer from First Baptist Church of Middleville delivered a sermon based on Luke 5:27-32 at Peace Church, emphasizing that Jesus came to call sinners to repentance. Through the story of Jesus calling Levi, a despised tax collector, Pastor Nate highlighted that just as the sick need a doctor, sinners need Jesus, who welcomes them without requiring them to clean up first. He stressed that the church should be like a hospital for sinners, offering spiritual heart transplants through the gospel. Pastor Nate also reminded the congregation that Jesus alone is the true physician who saves, and as Christians, our role is to guide others to Him.
